About Dr. Sabol
Small Animal Medical Center of Mountain Home was founded in 2006 by Dr. Sabol, a military family transplant. She resided in Mountain Home from 1984 to 1988 and settled permanently by choice after her husband exited the USAF in 1997. Dr. Sabol received her AAS in Veterinary Technology in 1981 from SUNY Canton. She worked as a veterinary technician from 1981 to 1992 for small animal private practices in NY, UT, and IN.

Upon graduation from Purdue University in 1997, Dr. Sabol returned to Orchard Animal Clinic in Boise as an Associate DVM from 1997 to 2006. As our family expanded, it became more apparent that this “small-town experience” was what we desired for raising our family.
How We Got Started
Witnessing clients commuting to Boise for veterinary care, it became apparent that the Mountain Home needed a practice dedicated exclusively to the complete care of small animal family members. In May 2006, Small Animal Medical Center opened its doors to serve this community, and we continue to do so gratefully.
